Well, Christmas is finally over and it was definitely a weird Christmas for us. Chris was sick with the stomach flu and got out of bed at 1pm to open presents then went right back to bed. Is it just me or did Christmas have a different vibe this year? It never seemed quite like Christmas for me. I think working retail gives you a different outlook. I didn't feel like shopping after being at the mall all day, having no time to do Christmas activities(no time off in Dec.), and Chris being sick wasn't very fun. I don't want to sound like a Scrooge because I did have an amazing time with my family. I was just sad Chris was sick and didn't get to enjoy the holiday. Here are some pictures from the big day. Winter Wonderland...
It snowed like crazy today. I spent a couple hours getting ready for work, only to get stuck in the driveway and never made it there. I guess I should think ahead, before barreling out of the garage and think I can make it out. There was a good 7-8 inches. So here I am stuck halfway in the road but most of my car in the snowbank that the nice snowplows made. Luckily, my new neighbor came out to help me. They moved two days before, what a nice way to meet them, huh? Then the ambulance drove by and the paramedics stopped to help us. I was so embarrassed because I didn't even have a snow shovel. We finally got it back into the garage and there it stayed. Chris and I went and bought a shovel tonight. I hope tomorrow morning goes better. Anyway, this weekend we went to Chris' family party. Here are some pics of the family. Chris and I took Braeleigh (my sister Ashley's daughter) so we wouldn't be left out of the kids present exchange.

Mac Party!!
This year's party was at my house. It was great to have everyone over. It was the first official party at the Sorensen house. We were super excited to be the hosts, maybe more me than Chris.haha We had dinner, exchanged gifts and played "apples to apples". I love that we are all friends and could enjoy the season together. And a special shout out to Audry and her chocolate roll. She is definitely the best chef ever. Top-Amber, Audry, Ashley, Elias, Sandy Bottom- Rachelle, Siri, Me Me, Audry, and Siri

Special Buddies!!!
As many of you may know I love a good reality tv show. ok, ok maybe a good teenie bopper reality show but so what:) My favorites are The Hills, Real World/Road Rules,Girls Next Door, America's Next Top Model, Blush, and of course Rob & Big. Which brings me to Special Buddies. For the people who do not watch this amazing show, on one episode Rob & Big saw a cereal box with a picture of a multiracial pair. They thought they should have a cereal box of their own.
I was rolling on the floor laughing on this episode. So while my sisters and I were at my cousins wedding, we took this picture. Shouldn't this be on a cereal box?Trista and Big are sportin' an awesome look. Where did their one eye go?
