Princesses on Ice!!!

Wow, it has been a long time since I updated my blog. Now that I post all my pics on Facebook, I forget to update my blog. Anyway here it goes:
On Sunday my mom took my sisters, my niece and I to the Disney Princesses on Ice. We went up early in the afternoon and ate lunch at the Gateway before heading over to the show. It was such a cute show. To watch Braeleigh experience the excitement was amazing. The show was a little long for the kiddies but very enjoyable. We stopped after the show to get hot cocoa and cookies(we definitely needed some sugar) and made our way home.

Best Concert EVER!!!!

Chris and I went to the Blink 182 concert last night with our friends Siri and Corey and it was AMAZING!!! We went early in the day because I was determined I was going to meet Travis Barker. While waiting by the buses we met the promotions guy for Chester French (an opening band) and showed him Chris' prosthetic leg. It has one of my favorite Famous Stars and Straps tshirts on the outside. He hooked us up with Randy who does FSAS with Travis. So he ended up taking a picture and a video of us back to Travis. Later Travis sent him back out to get our address,#,email. While waiting to see if we could go backstage, Mark Hoppus came out, it was great there were only 5 other people around besides us. So finally the show was going to start and we texted Randy to thank him for his help for trying to get us in and we went to our seats. The show was the best concert I have been to. They played amazing, it was great to hear them back together and of course they are hilarious. I could watch Travis drum all day. So after the show we saw Randy outside and he said he could only take one person back. I was heartbroken:( I am such a huge fan and LOVE Travis but at least Chris got to meet him. He went backstage and talked to him for 20 mins or so, got a signed shirt and drumstick that Travis played with during the show. Chris said he was soooo chill and nice. He also met Mark again and Tom. Chris was so excited. The smile on his face makes me feel not so bad I missed out. All in all, it was an amazing day. Travis told Chris he would hook him up with some FSAS and when we are in LA to call him. Awesome, right? I love BLINK!!!

Camping with the gals...

Last weekend I went camping with my girls from MAC. It was soooo much fun. It is a very difficult task, scheduling a time when we are all off at the same time. We managed to plan for a saturday after work and of course I closed. Amber and I drove up to a set up camp site by Ashley, Siri, Cory (siri's hubs) and Jamie. We had a lot of girl talk and a LOT of junk food. Then this week Siri informed me that she found out that two weeks earlier at the EXACT same campsite, there was a bear attack. Of course we would choose to go there, right? I guess next time we will check out the papers before we go. Next we are planning a slumber party at my house when Chris is on night shift. yay!

Check out all the orbs!! scary:|

Check out this funny video. very cute. The best wedding entrance ever.

Vegas, Ba-by!!!

Yay, a weekend in Vegas in the hot sun! My mom, my sister Ashley, her daughter Braeleigh and I went to Vegas this last weekend for our cousin's wedding. We had so much fun. We were really sad that Trista had to stay behind and work but we tried to make the most of it.

Brae is sooo funny, everytime we would ask her where we were going or where are we she would say "Vegas, Ba-Bay!" So she really thinks Vegas is called Vegas, Baby. We went down on Friday morning and started shopping as soon as we got there. It was just the girls, which means no one telling us where to go or what time to be there. We were actually able to get ready without anyone tapping their foot telling us how long girls take to get ready. It was great! We did what we wanted, when we wanted and for that we almost missed the wedding reception. oops:) hey we made it there with 45 mins still left, I consider that just on time but not to our uncle don who is ALWAYS early. Anywho, on Saturday we woke up at 7:30, got ready and went shopping, swam later in the afternoon, then hit the reception, went to dinner, and hit the hay. Doesn't sound like a lot now but we had a full day and went non stop. I am so thankful that I got to spend the time with my family. I haven't went on vacation with my mom in a long time and I definitely miss it. She is amazing and just being around her makes me happy. All in all, it was a fantastic weekend. Next time I hope it is longer.

Catchin up...

This weekend we had a fun event for the new collection for Style Warrior. The colors are bronzes and earth tones. Amazing colors going into summer. My favorite is the skinsheen body bronzer. I have been using this every day and still have a couple bottles from years ago. I love that it gives a healthy bronze glow and never orange or streaky.

This week, Chris and I went down to celebrate my grandpa shepherd's 88th birthday. We had a family dinner and got to visit with the fam for the evening. We gave Braeleigh a new dress and she went wild. She is obsessed with 'beautiful dresses". The dresses have to twirl, if they don't flare out enough she will take if off and throw it. So I guess her attire for summer will be sun dresses.

An update on sweet little Betsey, she has found her true home next door with our neighbors. Back story- They had a shorkie that played with Betsey and then was stolen a couple weeks after we got Betsey. The neighbors have 4 kids that were heartbroken and everytime I would take Betsey outside she would run over to their house. It just seemed meant to be. So now we babsit her and play with her all the time. I really did try to be a dog person but I guess it isn't meant to be.

We are finally parents..... sort of?

Chris and I have a new addition to our family, Lil' Betsey Leigh. We got her last Friday and we are having a blast getting to know her. She is such a cute puppy and has a little spunky personality.

Now if only I can get her potty trained, we will all be happy. This potty training business is hard work. How do train a dog? We tried puppy pads but I ended up with sweet little presents all over my new carpet. So the vet suggested crate training, which is really tough. She is in her kennel alot but she is getting the concept. She is starting to go potty outside. woohoo!!! So we are trying to stick to it and see how it goes.

She meets the whole family this weekend. I am excited to see what everyone thinks, especially how my mom takes to her.(my mom has already had dreams about her pooping on her floor.)haha.
